NF ASC89020 Air Stone Cylinder for Larger Tanks

The NF ASC89020 is a larger 80×30 cylinder air stone built to push a generous, even bubble column through bigger volumes of water. We reach for a stone this size on larger display tanks, grow-out tanks and sumps where a small stone simply cannot keep up. The cylindrical shape spreads bubbles along its length rather than from a single point, giving broader surface agitation and more effective gas exchange.

That extra aeration capacity matters in our warm 27-29C tanks, where dissolved oxygen sits lower and heavily stocked or planted setups can dip overnight once plants stop photosynthesising. Pair a stone this size with an appropriately strong air pump so it gets enough flow to run all its surface. Air stones gradually clog with biofilm and minerals, so plan to clean or replace them periodically to keep bubbles fine.
