Decorating with the biOrb Sea Shell Set

This three-piece ceramic shell set is one of the simplest ways to give the base of a biOrb some natural structure and a clean coastal feel. Ceramic is a good choice for our climate because it will not warp, fade or float, and it shrugs off the constant warmth of a 27-29C tank. The white finish reads bright against darker substrate or ceramic media, helping a desktop or HDB-shelf biOrb feel calm and uncluttered rather than busy.

Arrange the three shells at staggered depths so they create little nooks where shrimp or small fish can graze and hide. Because they are easy to lift out, they make maintenance painless: during a water change, take them out, rinse off the warm-water biofilm that forms quickly here, and drop them back in for an instantly refreshed look without restarting the whole tank.
