GREEN BRIGHTY IRON is a liquid fertilizer for supplying iron to a planted aquarium. Vigorously growing aquatic plants require iron, and if iron is insufficient, the growth and pigment synthesis of aquatic plants is affected. Daily application of GREEN BRIGHTY IRON to the aquarium eliminates these problems caused by iron deficiency and promotes growth of aquatic plants.

Supplying Iron With ADA Green Brighty Iron

ADA Green Brighty Iron is the daily-dose iron fertiliser we recommend for planted tanks pushing vigorous growth. Fast-growing aquatic plants draw down iron quickly, and when it runs short both growth and pigment synthesis stall, leaving leaves looking weak and faded. A small daily dose keeps iron consistently available, heading off the deficiency rather than reacting to it after the damage shows.

In Singapore’s warm, brightly lit tanks at 27 to 29C, plants metabolise fast and exhaust iron faster still, which is why pale or stunted new growth is such a common complaint here. Because iron oxidises out of solution quickly, frequent small doses outperform occasional large ones. We always suggest dosing little and often, then reading the plants over a week or two before adjusting.
