Description
AF Pure Food is 100% natural food for corals. The composition based on calcium carbonate provides the inhabitants of the aquarium with all necessary micro and macro elements, thus ensures healthy growth and eases calcification. Due to its special origin, AF Pure Food is a food that corals eat in their natural habitat. The unique composition of the product guarantees intense growth. Rich in calcium carbonate formula has also a positive effect on maintaining the pH at a stable level.
Dosage: 1 measuring spoon per 100 l (27 US gal) of water.
Fill a small container with approx. 20 ml of aquarium water, add a spoon of AF Pure Food and mix for one minute. Pour the suspension directly into the tank or use the pipette to feed selected corals. Use at least once a week. In well-planted, mature aquariums the product can be used more often, even daily.
All powdered foods have a recommended dosage of 1 spoon per 100 l (27 US gal) of water, though, it’s important that each aquarium is different and the dosage may vary depending on the coral cast. We recommend starting dosing foods and supplements from half of the dose (even ¼) and observing the corals and their reactions to the administered food. Once the aquarium shows no sign of overdose, we recommend increasing dosage to the target dose. Corals such as Zoanthus, Ricordea and other mushroom corals should be fed during the day. In order to facilitate the food absorption, SPS and LPS corals should be fed after the light is out. In order to ensure the best nutrients absorption, all supplements and foods for corals should be dispensed directly into the aquarium. During the feeding we recommend switching off the skimmer for about an hour.
Product for aquarium use only. Store in a cool place away from the light. Keep away from children.

AF Pure Food 30g for Natural Coral Feeding
Pure Food is a 100% natural coral food built on a calcium carbonate base, designed to mimic the particulate matter corals graze on in the wild. We recommend it to Singapore reefers who want a simple, single feed that delivers micro and macro elements while gently supporting calcification. Because the carbonate base also has a mild buffering effect, it can help keep pH steady, which is useful in closed home reefs where parameters drift between water changes.
Our suggested approach is to pre-mix a measure with a little tank water, switch off the return and skimmer briefly, then disperse it around the corals so they have time to capture it. Feed lightly and consistently rather than in big doses; in our warm tanks excess organics break down quickly and can fuel algae. Watch how your colonies extend and feed before settling on a routine.
