Zhen De Wood with Plants NIK-04B for SG Aquascapes

The NIK-04B carries a slightly wider, more sprawling profile than its siblings, making it a natural mid-ground or low corner piece in tanks from 30cm upward. The faux foliage reads convincingly as low-growing stems against a dark substrate, and because it needs no light or fertiliser, it suits the low-tech, low-fuss builds many Singapore flat-dwellers prefer. It is a quick way to soften bare glass corners or hide an intake pipe.

As an artificial decoration it stays dimensionally stable in our 27-29C ambient water, so you will not see the warping or fungal bloom that sometimes hits untreated real wood in warm, humid conditions. A quick rinse before placing it removes packing dust, and an occasional wipe with a soft sponge during water changes keeps biofilm off the leaves. Wedge it gently between rocks or bury the base under gravel so it does not shift when fish dart past.
