The ZZ7701 resin ornament in a Singapore aquarium

At 24 x 12 x 7cm, the ZZ7701 is a low, wide resin ornament that works well as a foreground or mid-ground feature rather than a tall centrepiece, fitting comfortably in the 1- to 2-foot tanks common in HDB flats. Its broad, low profile leaves swimming room above while creating sheltered pockets at substrate level where bettas, small community fish and shrimp can rest out of the open. That cover matters in bright Singapore living rooms where tanks catch plenty of light.

The piece is moulded from inert, aquarium-safe resin that stays stable in our warm 27-29C water and does not soften in the local humidity. Set it on the bare glass and bank substrate around it so it sits firmly and waste cannot collect in any hidden cavity underneath. Expect a thin algae film to develop on the textured surface; a swish or soft brush in old tank water at each water change keeps it looking fresh.
