Ebang EB-02/03/04 Slim Hang-On Filters for Singapore Tanks

This slim hang-on range covers 25-60cm tanks across three flow ratings, so you can match the filter to your tank rather than over- or under-powering it. The built-in surface skimmer is a genuinely useful touch in Singapore homes: it pulls the oily protein film that forms on still water, which is more noticeable in our humid, warm conditions and can otherwise block gas exchange and dull the surface of a display tank.

Choosing between the EB-02, EB-03 and EB-04 comes down to turnover for your water volume. A larger tank benefits from the higher 580l/h EB-04, while a smaller nano is better served by the gentler EB-02 so livestock are not buffeted. The slim profile suits HDB and condo setups where cabinet clearance is tight, and the surface skimmer keeps oxygen exchange healthy during warm spells when oxygen solubility drops.
