Instructions

Hang the filter in an appropriate position in the fish tank, and adjust the horizontal adjustment button at the bottom of the filter to keep the filter body level.

Fill the filter with water, cover it, and plug it in.

UP AQUA CA-F-019 Slim Hang-On Filter for Small Tanks

The CA-F-019 is a slim hang-on filter rated for 25-40cm tanks, with a 250L/H flow and a quiet 3.5W motor. Its narrow profile is ideal for Singapore nano and betta keepers who want filtration without a bulky box eating into a small tank or crowding a desk in a compact HDB room. The hang-on design keeps the inside of the tank clear, leaving more swimming space for the livestock.

For mechanical and biological filtration in one slim unit, we suggest seeding the media from an established tank to speed up cycling, since our warm water lets bacteria colonise quickly once they take hold. Rinse media in old tank water, never under the tap, so chloramine does not wipe out your culture. The flow is gentle enough for most community fish but can be baffled further if you keep long-finned bettas that dislike strong current.
