Description
Size: 250ml/80g
Soft Line Arowana size L is a soft, floating food in the form of sticks designed for young arowanas.
The innovative granulated foods for aquarium fish from the Soft Line are eagerly consumed and more easily assimilated by the fish. The high hydrostability of these foods ensures that they maintain their shape in water, with minimal swelling. The elevated hydrostability of the food limits the release of food components into the aquarium water, preventing cloudiness.
The granules contain herring, whose protein has an excellent amino acid profile, crustaceans rich in unsaturated fatty acids and chitin, various species of algae, and larvae of Hermetia illucens providing a substantial energy boost. Additionally, the soft granules from the Soft Line enhance the fish’s immunity with ingredients such as natural immunostimulators – beta-glucan, garlic, prebiotics from algae, and vitamin C. The food also includes the interesting planktonic crustacean, kalanus (Calanus finmarchicus), which is a source of astaxanthin, protein rich in essential amino acids, and unsaturated fatty acids, including omega-3. The Soft Line foods, thanks to their soft texture and the richness of the used ingredients, allow you to feed the fish in a way close to their natural diet, while providing the aquarium keeper with feeding convenience.

Soft Line Arowana Size L: feeding young arowanas in Singapore
Arowana keeping is a serious local passion, and this soft floating stick is sized for young arowanas, with herring protein and an amino acid profile aimed at steady, healthy growth. The floating format matches the arowana’s surface-hunting habit perfectly, letting these fish strike from above the way they would take insects in the wild. The soft, hydrostable stick swells minimally and releases little into the water, helping keep a large arowana tank clearer between changes.
Young arowanas grow quickly and need space, so plan tank size and floor loading early, especially in HDB and condo settings where a large tank’s weight is a real consideration. In our warm 27-29C climate a young arowana feeds enthusiastically, so vary the diet, feed measured portions, and avoid the overfeeding that bloats fast-growing juveniles and fouls big tanks.
