Setting up the VENY REP-6015 floating turtle basking platform

This medium VENY REP-6015 pier is a floating basking platform that rises and falls with your water level, which solves a common headache for turtle keepers who top up or change water often in our climate. The suction-anchored pylons hold it steady while the deck stays at the surface, giving a red-eared slider, musk turtle, newt, frog or salamander a reliable dry spot to haul out and dry off. The textured ramp makes climbing out easy even for smaller animals.

Getting fully dry above the water is essential for shell and skin health, so position the platform under a basking lamp and, for turtles, a UVB source. Singapore’s ambient warmth helps, but turtles still need a focused warm, dry basking zone the platform cannot provide on its own. We suggest checking the suction cups every couple of weeks, as biofilm in warm water can loosen their grip over time and let the pier drift.
