Super Red is a powdered colour food you mix into a paste, combining astaxanthin, canthaxanthin and spirulina for red intensity with probiotics, high calcium and vitamin C for growth and health. The powder format lets you control texture and pellet size yourself, which local keepers like for matching small mouths or binding the dough firmer for messier eaters. It suits a range of ornamentals where red enhancement is the goal.

To prepare, stir roughly a teaspoon of powder with about 5ml of water until smooth but not soggy, then form and divide into sizes that suit your fish. In our warm climate prepared paste does not keep, so make small batches and feed promptly. As with any colour food, results depend on the fish carrying red genes and on clean water, so keep nitrate down between changes.
