Feeding Hikari Vibra Bites to colour up community fish

Vibra Bites are the worm-shaped sticks designed to drift and wriggle in the current like a live bloodworm, which triggers a strong feeding response from tropical community fish. The shape is the clever part: it moves through the water column rather than sinking dead-weight, so mid-water fish such as tetras, barbs and rasboras chase it the way they would chase live food, without the parasite risk live worms can carry. The colour-enhancing blend helps bring out reds and oranges over time.

Feed only what your fish finish in a couple of minutes, since overfeeding is the fastest route to cloudy water and nuisance algae, and that pressure is worse in Singapore’s warm tanks where waste breaks down quickly. A few sticks at a time, once or twice a day, is plenty for most community setups. Reseal the pack tightly and store it somewhere cool and dry, because our humidity will soften and spoil any fish food left open.
