CARNIVORE food for large carnivorous fish. High protein sinking granules for bottom feeding carnivorous fish. High content of easily digestible protein shall meet the dietary demands of all catfish, demanding Potamotrygonidae, snakeheads etc. CARNIVORE is a perfect dietary supplementation for omnivorous Loricariidae and an interesting feeding solution for large cichlids that feed at the bottom.
The lowered content of starch protects carnivorous fish against fatty degeneration of internal organs. The granules do not disintegrate in water, retaining their structure for a long period of time. This way they do not contaminate it or release any valuable nutrients. Additionally, beta-glucan enhances the immune system.

Feeding Tropical Carnivore to large bottom-feeders in Singapore

These dense sinking granules are aimed squarely at the big-bottom-feeder crowd we see a lot of locally: bristlenose and common plecos, large catfish, and bottom-grazing cichlids. Because the granules drop fast and hold together without clouding, they reach the substrate before mid-water fish intercept them, which is exactly what you want when the target eats off the floor. That hydrostability also keeps your water clearer between water changes.

Portion conservatively. In our warm 27-29C tanks fish metabolise quickly and beg constantly, so it is easy to overfeed a slow grazer and foul the tank. Offer only what is cleared in a few minutes, ideally near a feeding spot you can siphon, and skip a day weekly for heavier-bodied predators to keep them lean and their organs healthy.
