Hailea HE-200 Hang-On Filter for Gentle-Flow SG Tanks
The HE-200 is an internal hang-on filter tuned for gentle output rather than brute turnover, which makes it a good match for tanks with floating plants, bettas or shrimp that dislike strong current. At 3W and 200 L/h it sips power and stays quiet, hanging on the rim so it frees up footprint inside a small aquarium. The gentle flow keeps surface dwellers and delicate plant roots undisturbed while still cycling water through sponge and media.
In Singapore that low-flow profile suits the many nano and betta tanks kept in HDB and condo homes, where a roaring filter would buffet the fish and scatter floating plants. Because gentle flow means less surface agitation, keep an eye on oxygen during our warmest 27-29C afternoons and add an air stone if you stock heavily. Rinse the sponge in old tank water to protect the bacteria your nitrogen cycle depends on.
