Choosing the JUWEL LED Day 438mm for Your 60cm JUWEL Tank

This 438mm, 12-watt JUWEL Day tube is the factory replacement length for the 60cm rail that ships in models like the Lido 120 and Trigon 350. In our Singapore showroom, hobbyists buy it as a like-for-like swap when an original tube dims or fails after a few years, restoring the bright, slightly warm daylight cast that JUWEL cabinets are designed around. Because it slots into the existing reflector housing, there is no re-wiring and no guesswork on fit.

The Day spectrum leans toward general viewing rather than a heavy plant-growth bias, so it pairs nicely with a Nature tube if you keep low-to-medium-light stems and epiphytes. In our 27-29C ambient, the LED runs cool and sips power compared with the old T5 it descends from, which matters when a tank lights for eight to ten hours daily. Keep the rubber end caps seated and the cover dry, since condensation is constant in unconditioned HDB and condo spaces here.
