ODY HI-LUMEN 60 “PLANT” for Singapore Planted Tanks

The “PLANT” tuning on this 60cm fixture leans toward a fuller spectrum that makes greens and reds pop while still pushing growth in foreground and stem plants. We see it land most often over standard 2-foot planted tanks in HDB living rooms, where a single slim bar sitting on the included bracket keeps the cabinet looking tidy and the cords manageable behind the tank.

Lighting is only half the equation. In Singapore’s warm water, too much light without matching CO2 and nutrients is the fastest route to algae, so we suggest starting with a shorter photoperiod on a timer and raising it gradually as your plants establish. Many of our customers run this on a simple smart plug schedule of around six to eight hours and adjust based on how the plants and glass respond over the first month.
