The Week Aqua MD-series Pro for 60cm to 120cm planted tanks
The Week Aqua MD-series Pro is an RGB-UV full-spectrum LED aimed at mid-to-large planted tanks from 60 to 120cm, and we recommend it for aquascapers stepping up from a nano fixture who want strong, controllable output over a longer scape. App control on iOS and Android covers brightness, colour and timing, with seven presets for quick setups and custom modes for those running CO2 and demanding plants. A one-year warranty is included.
Match the model length to your tank so light spreads evenly from front to back and end to end, avoiding dim corners where plants sulk. In Singapore’s warm tanks we always suggest building up gradually: start with a moderate intensity and a sensible photoperiod set through the app, then increase only if your plants clearly want more. That restraint, combined with consistent fertilising, is the most dependable way to keep a high-output light from tipping the tank toward algae.
