Ludwigia Rubin Mini (Pot) for SG Planted Tanks

We carry Ludwigia Rubin mini as a compact, red-leaved stem that brings warm colour to the midground without overwhelming a smaller scape. The mini form stays shorter and bushier than standard Ludwigia, which makes it a favourite for nano and HDB-sized tanks where space is tight. In our Singapore setups the warm 27-29C ambient suits it fully submerged without a chiller, and strong light is the key to pulling the leaves from olive into a rich red.

Plant the stems a few centimetres apart so light reaches every node, and trim regularly; replanting the healthiest tops builds a denser red group over time. CO2, lean nitrogen, and good iron-rich dosing deepen the colour, though it stays reasonably forgiving in well-lit tanks. Our chloraminated tap water suits it once dechlorinated. As an emersed-grown plant, expect it to drop a few starter leaves and reshape as it settles underwater.
