How To Safely Add Fish To Tank

1. Set live stock aside with transportation bag in room temperature place for 30 minutes.
2. Then transfer bag to float in aquarium for another 30 minutes
3. Use a fish net to transfer the live stock by scooping it from the bag into the tank.

Note: Do not release live stocks together with the transportation water into tank.

Keeping Celebes Rainbowfish in Singapore Tanks

The Celebes Rainbowfish is a small, elegant species with translucent bodies and trailing finnage that catches the light beautifully in a planted tank. They are peaceful shoaling fish, so we always recommend keeping them in a group of at least six to bring out their colour and natural schooling behaviour. Males display more intensely when there is gentle competition within the group, which makes a well-stocked shoal far more rewarding than a handful of individuals.

Singapore’s ambient 27-29C suits them well, and many local tanks run heaterless within that range. They appreciate clean, stable water and benefit from a slightly mature tank rather than a brand-new setup, so let your filter establish before adding them. Fine-leaved plants and open swimming lanes show them off best, while calmer flow keeps their delicate fins from being battered. Remember to dechlorinate local tap water to neutralise chloramine before any water change.
