A leaf-shaped feeder plate solves a problem every shrimp keeper runs into: dropping food straight onto substrate, where it sinks into the gaps, fouls the bed and feeds planaria and hydra instead of your colony. By keeping pellets, powders and blanched veg on a clean surface, you can watch how much the shrimp actually eat and lift out leftovers before they break down, which keeps water parameters stable in a small, sensitive tank.
