Long description:
Red Rili Shrimp are a selectively bred Neocaridina morph known for their distinctive red coloration combined with clear or translucent body sections. They are active grazers that feed on algae and biofilm, helping keep the aquarium clean. A planted tank with moss and hiding areas helps them feel secure and encourages breeding. They are ideal for peaceful community aquariums and do best in stable, mature tanks with consistent water conditions.

Red Rili Shrimp Care in Singapore
The Red Rili is prized for its broken pattern of solid red and clear glass segments, a look that comes from selective breeding within the Neocaridina davidi line. Because the pattern is variable, a colony will throw a spread of grades, which makes culling and selecting your best stock part of the fun. We pick our breeders for clean colour blocks and crisp transparency so the shrimp you take home start from a strong base.
These are hardy and beginner-friendly, tolerating the typical SG range well. With our ambient 27-29C most tanks run heaterless, and a planted setup with moss gives constant biofilm to graze. Singapore tap water is soft and treated with chloramine, so condition every refill and keep parameters steady, since sudden swings stress shrimp far more than the absolute numbers do.
