Aqua Soil-Amazonia Ver.2Amazonia Ver.2 uses black soil for a raw material and it stands out against the leaf color of aquatic plants, and also includes Amazonia Supplement to enrich nutrients. By adding an appropriate amount of Amazonia supplement and laying Amazonia Ver.2, aquatic plants grow better and a beautiful Nature Aquarium can be realized. In addition, natural soils make the water quality suitable for aquatic plants and tropical fish, and it is easy to maintain an aquarium at the initial stage, so it can be used widely from beginners to veterans.

ADA Amazonia Version 2 Soil for Singapore Planted Tanks

Amazonia Ver.2 is our default recommendation for hobbyists chasing lush, demanding plants and a proper Nature Aquarium look. As an active soil it gently softens and acidifies water, which is convenient locally since our tap water already trends soft and slightly acidic, so the soil is working with your source water rather than against it. The dark grain also makes plant colour pop, and it gives strong early growth that helps a new scape establish quickly.

Active soils leach ammonia in the first weeks, so we always advise a full cycle and generous water changes before adding livestock, especially sensitive shrimp. In our warm 27-29C tanks biological activity runs fast, which helps the tank settle but means staying on top of those early changes. Pair it with Power Sand underneath for a richer base, and it will support heavy planting for a long, productive lifespan.
