ANS Naturesand Misty Grey Sand for a Muted River Look

Misty Grey Sand is a 100% natural, pH-neutral sand in fine, even grains, with a soft neutral-grey tone that reads as a calm, overcast riverbed. The muted colour is a quiet middle ground between stark white and dark black sand, letting your hardscape and plants take the lead rather than the substrate. Available in 1kg portions for nano tanks and 5kg for larger scapes, it scales to whatever footprint you are working with.

Because it is inert and pH-neutral, it leaves your water chemistry alone, so your soft local parameters stay where your source water and dosing set them. Give it a proper rinse before use to clear the fine dust that comes with natural sands and avoid an early haze. The neutral grey hides detritus better than pure white, but regular gravel-vac passes still keep the surface looking fresh.
