How To Safely Add Fish To Tank

1. Set live stock aside with transportation bag in room temperature place for 30 minutes.
2. Then transfer bag to float in aquarium for another 30 minutes
3. Use a fish net to transfer the live stock by scooping it from the bag into the tank.

Note: Do not release live stocks together with the transportation water into tank.

Lemon Tetra: A Soft Yellow Glow for the Community Tank

The lemon tetra is an understated classic, washing the mid-water with a soft yellow shimmer and flashes of red in the eye and fins when the fish is settled and well fed. It is a peaceful, hardy shoaler that suits the planted community tanks common in Singapore homes, and it tends to colour up best against a dark substrate and gentle, tannin-tinted water. Like all tetras it shows its true character only in a proper group, so a school of eight or more is the right starting point.

These fish are adaptable, but they reward stable water and a mature tank with calmer, equally sized tank mates. Our 27-29C ambient sits comfortably within their range, so many keepers run them heaterless. Treat and lightly soften our chloraminated tap water, feed a varied diet to bring out the warm tones, and acclimate new arrivals slowly to avoid stress-related colour loss.
