Biorept Supreme Young for Growing Turtles in SG
This small-pellet version is formulated for young, growing aquatic and semi-aquatic turtles, with krill, squid and Hermetia larvae giving the higher protein hatchlings need to build healthy shell and body mass. The smaller, soft pellets are sized for juvenile mouths and a calcium-to-phosphorus ratio aimed at supporting proper bone and shell development during the fast-growth phase.
Young turtles are enthusiastic, near-daily feeders, but their growth depends on more than protein alone, so good lighting, basking warmth and clean water all matter as much as the food. In Singapore’s warm 27-29C tanks, the added probiotic helping food utilisation is welcome since hatchlings produce a lot of waste relative to water volume. Feed only what is cleared and siphon out the rest.
As your turtle matures, transition to a lower-protein adult formula. Our turtle filtration guide covers keeping juvenile water clean, while the Reeves turtle care guide is a useful reference for a common local species. Browse more in our turtle and reptile range.
