Dried fish and crustaceans, as well as algae are ranked first.

JBL Turtle Food Balance Diet for SG Terrapins

This balanced staple is built around the omnivorous appetite of turtles and terrapins, leaning on fish, crustaceans and algae that match what these animals naturally seek. For Singapore keepers, red-eared sliders and similar terrapins are common, and a varied staple like this gives a practical everyday base you can supplement with the occasional fresh treat. The floating pellets make it easy to gauge how much your turtle actually eats.

Feeding habits change with size and age, so offer an amount your turtle finishes in a few minutes and clear any leftovers, since uneaten food fouls the water fast in our warm climate. Strong filtration and regular changes matter here because terrapins are messy and produce a heavy bioload. Keep portions sensible to avoid both overfeeding and the murky water that follows.
