We stock this turtle and reptile pellet across the 100g through 1100g sizes so it works for a single juvenile slider as well as an established adult that eats a lot. The floating sticks are easy to portion and easy to scoop out, which keeps a turtle tank cleaner than crumbly foods that sink and rot. It is formulated as a balanced staple, so pair it with the occasional vegetables and protein many keepers like to rotate in.
Turtles are messy eaters, and in our warm climate uneaten food fouls water fast, so many SG keepers feed in a separate container or do a generous water change after meals. Strong filtration and a basking area still matter even though our ambient temperatures are high. Feed roughly what the turtle finishes within about an hour, then remove the rest before it clouds the water.
