The CLP series is a low-level, high-pressure pump built for ponds, waterfalls and garden water features, and its variable-frequency motor lets it move serious volume without the noise of older fixed-speed units. For landed-house koi ponds here, the pressure rating matters: you need enough head to push water up a waterfall or through a pressurised filter and still maintain good turnover, which is essential in our heat where biological load and algae pressure run high year-round.

The ceramic shaft is the part we point customers to, because constant warm, mineral-laden water and continuous running are hard on cheaper components. Running both fresh and saltwater capable, it copes with the conditions our outdoor ponds throw at it. Size the pump to your pond volume aiming for at least one full turnover per hour, and remember that during monsoon season a covered or RCD-protected outlet is non-negotiable for outdoor electrical gear.
