Description

Supplement contains concentrated manganese. It’s a natural compound of seawater and it’s necessary for almost all living organisms. It takes part in many metabolic changes and processes. Manganese compounds are used during photosynthesis, making it crucial element for proper coral nutrition.
Dosage
1 ml of the product increases the manganese level by 0.001 mg/l (ppm) in 100 litres (27 US gal) of water. Recommended level: 0.001 – 0.0022 mg/l (ppm). Please remember, that maximum safe daily dose is 1 ml per 100 litres of water. If you need a higher dose, split it into a few days. Dosage should be based on microelements consumption. Note, that each aquarium is different and final dosage depends on the coral cast and individual aquarium needs. Both, deficiency and excess micronutrients will affect aquarium inhabitants, therefore dosage should be selected and modified on the basis of regular Aquaforest Lab water tests.

Dosing Aquaforest Manganum (Mn) On A Local Reef Tank

Manganese is one of those trace elements that rarely gets attention until colours dull or growth slows, and this 200ml Manganum LAB bottle lets Singapore reefers replenish it in a controlled, measured way. Corals draw on manganese during photosynthesis, so well-lit SPS and mixed systems consume it steadily. We treat it as a top-up element rather than something to blast in, dosing small amounts and watching how the tank responds over a couple of weeks.

The golden rule we share with customers is don’t guess. Trace elements are easy to overdose, and in our warm 27-29C tanks biological processes run quickly, so excess can accumulate before you notice. Ideally you confirm an actual deficiency through ICP analysis before reaching for any single-element supplement, then dose conservatively and re-test. Splitting a larger correction across several days, as the label suggests, keeps swings gentle and your livestock unstressed.
