Aquaforest Vanadium LAB (V) 200ml

Description

Supplement contains concentrated vanadium. Vanadium is an important activator of enzymes, it participates in carbohydrates metabolism and skeletal mineralization. This element is regularly consumed by the inhabitants of the aquarium, so in order to provide conditions as close to the natural environment as it is possible, it should be systematically dosed to the aquarium.
Dosage:
1 ml of the product increases the vanadium level by 0.001 mg/l (ppm) in 100 litres (27 US gal) of water. Recommended level: 0.001 – 0.0025 mg/l (ppm). Please remember, that maximum safe daily dose is 1 ml per 100 litres of water. If you need a higher dose, split it into a few days. Dosage should be based on microelements consumption. Note, that each aquarium is different and final dosage depends on the coral cast and individual aquarium needs. Both, deficiency and excess micronutrients will affect aquarium inhabitants, therefore dosage should be selected and modified on the basis of regular Aquaforest Lab water tests.

Vanadium is one of the deep trace elements, an enzyme activator that takes part in carbohydrate metabolism and skeletal mineralisation, and tank inhabitants consume it steadily. This 200ml concentrate from the Aquaforest LAB line lets local reefers replace it precisely, keeping conditions closer to natural seawater for SPS-dominated and mixed systems where every minor element contributes to growth and coloration. It is very much a supplement for keepers already testing and dosing the core parameters consistently.

Restraint is essential with an element measured in thousandths of a ppm. The recommended range is narrow and there is a firm maximum safe daily dose, so we tell customers to dose slowly, stay well within the limit, and ideally confirm the level through ICP testing rather than guessing. Effects show over weeks, not days, so resist the urge to over-correct after a single result.
