Description
Myriophyllum Guyana
Aquarium plant from tissue culture in closed cup.
This Myriophyllum keeps its bright, green colour even at very high light intensity. Every stem will only measure approximately 2-3 cm (1”), but it branches willingly and the plant quickly becomes dense and lush.
Cutting down is often necessary to maintain the access to light and water flow. Its moderate growth makes Myriophyllum ‘Guyana’ particularly adapted to nano tanks.

Myriophyllum Guyana Tissue Culture in Singapore Aquascapes
Myriophyllum Guyana is a feathery, bright-green stem plant we recommend when an aquascaper wants soft texture that holds its colour even under intense light. Supplied as tissue culture, this cup arrives clean and pest-free, a real plus for SG nano-tank keepers. The fine, whorled foliage stays a willingly branching, compact stand that suits the small layouts common in HDB and condo homes.
Each stem stays short and bushes out readily, which makes it especially well suited to nano tanks where larger milfoils would quickly overwhelm the scape. It does appreciate a steady nutrient supply, so regular dosing keeps the new growth dense and vivid rather than thin. In our warm 27-29C local tanks it grows at a moderate pace, giving you time to shape it without constant pruning.
Trim and replant the tops to thicken the group and maintain light penetration to the lower stems. See our Myriophyllum Guyana care guide and stem plant trim and replant guide, and explore more in our background plants range.
