biOrb Purple Pebbles for the Aquarium Bed

These decorative purple marble pebbles are a simple finishing touch for the base of any biOrb. At roughly 6 x 4 x 4cm and a little over a third of a kilo per piece, they are weighty enough to stay put on top of the ceramic media and add a pop of colour that catches the MCR light beautifully. They suit every biOrb model and work in freshwater and saltwater alike, so they are an easy, low-commitment way to personalise a tank.

We use pebbles like these to soften the transition between hardscape and the bare media, tucking them around the base of ornaments and plants so nothing looks like it is floating on plain ceramic. In our climate the big advantage of inert decor is obvious: no fading, no upkeep, just a quick rinse in old tank water during a water change to clear any film. Under colour-cycling light, purple stones give a tank real after-dark character.
