ANS Siphon Cleaner (Nano): Gentle Cleaning for Small Tanks

The Nano version of the ANS Siphon Cleaner is sized for the small, shallow tanks that fit so well in SG apartments: betta jars, shrimp cubes, nano aquascapes and desktop planted setups. Its slim intake lets you spot-clean substrate and lift waste from tight corners without disturbing carpeting plants or stressing small inhabitants with a strong, sudden pull of water.

Nano tanks have little water volume to buffer waste, and in our warm 27-29C rooms that means parameters can shift quickly if mulm builds up. A gentle weekly syphon of the open substrate areas keeps things stable between top-ups and small changes. For shrimp keepers especially, work slowly and watch the outlet so you are not accidentally drawing in babies along with the debris.
