The RX-183 is the largest of SUDO’s textured caves, and we steer Singapore keepers toward it for bigger community or cichlid tanks where a small ornament simply gets ignored. At 230 by 270mm it reads as a believable rock overhang rather than plastic decor, thanks to the moulded 3D surface. The material is inert in our soft, chloraminated tap water, so you can drop it straight into an established tank without worrying about parameter swings.

In our warm 27-29C rooms, fish are active and territorial, so a generous cave like this gives larger plecos, geophagus or a breeding cichlid pair a defensible base that reduces squabbling. The deep recess casts genuine shade, which encourages nocturnal species to come out and settle. Because it is hollow and light, it is easy to reposition during a water change without disturbing your whole substrate.
