Discus Gran D-50 Plus for Singapore Discus Keepers
Discus Gran D-50 Plus is a high-protein, colour-enhancing slow-sinking granule aimed at discus and other fish with demanding diets that feed in the middle and lower layers. The roughly 2.4mm granules sink gently rather than dropping straight to the substrate, giving discus time to take them mid-water the way they prefer. The 50 percent protein content supports the fast growth young discus need.
Discus are the connoisseur’s fish here, and they reward attention to detail. They like warmth, which suits our climate, but they are sensitive to water quality, so the heavier feeding regime these granules invite must be matched with frequent water changes. Singapore’s soft, slightly acidic tap water is actually a reasonable starting point for discus, though many breeders still tune parameters carefully for spawning and fry.
Feed several small meals a day to growing fish and keep the tank pristine. Our discus care guide and discus water parameters guide cover the conditions these granules support best. Explore more options in our discus food range.
