Growing Syngonium Milk Confetti in Singapore Aquariums

The Syngonium Milk Confetti is an attractive variegated aroid most often grown above the waterline or in the humid splash zone of a paludarium, where its cream-and-green foliage really shows. In Singapore’s naturally humid climate it sits comfortably emersed, drawing roots into damp substrate or hardscape while leaves enjoy the air. It adds a soft, planted accent that contrasts well with darker driftwood and stone.

Treated as a true submerged aquatic it is far less reliable, so we usually recommend it for open-top tanks, riparium baskets or the margins of a planted display rather than fully underwater. Give it bright, indirect light and steady moisture, and trim leggy growth to keep it bushy. Our ambient humidity does much of the work, so the main task is keeping roots damp, not drowned.
