Labisia Emblem Mata ‘List Pink’ for Humid SG Displays

We stock this Labisia Emblem Mata in its pink-listed form as a terrestrial Southeast Asian foliage plant, valued for patterned leaves rather than as a submerged aquarium species. It performs best emersed, with its roots in moist substrate and its leaves in humid air, which makes it a strong candidate for the floor or planted ledges of a paludarium or terrarium. Singapore’s climate gives it the warmth and humidity it naturally enjoys.

Grow it in an airy, free-draining mix kept evenly damp, and shade it under taller plants since soft, diffused light preserves the pink veining far better than harsh output. Indoor temperatures around our usual 27-29C suit it without a chiller, but air-conditioned rooms can dry the air, so a covered enclosure helps hold moisture steady. We dechlorinate tap water before misting and use RO or rainwater for the most sensitive new growth.
