Adding texture with the biOrb Sea Urchins Set

The black ceramic Sea Urchins set adds small, sculptural accents that give the floor of a biOrb a sense of a real reef bed without crowding the limited swimming space. The dark finish is useful for contrast: against pale ceramic media or sand pebbles, the urchins draw the eye and add depth, which helps a compact desktop globe feel more layered. Ceramic also means no fading, warping or leaching into your tank water over time.

Scatter them in twos and threes rather than lining them up, mimicking how urchins actually cluster, and tuck a couple near larger ornaments to soften hard edges. They are easy to remove, so during maintenance you can lift them out, rinse off the biofilm that builds fast in our 27-29C tanks, and replace them in seconds for a tidy look between full cleans.
