This 1kg coloured sand is a decorative substrate for hobbyists who want a bold, eye-catching base rather than a natural look, and it works across betta tanks, terrariums and reptile or tortoise enclosures. It ships with some manufacturing dust, so rinse it thoroughly in a bucket under running water until the runoff is clear before adding it, or you will cloud the tank on fill-up.
