OASE BioTec ScreenMatic² 145000 for large koi ponds in Singapore

This is a filter for serious koi keepers with landed-home ponds, sized for systems up to the 145000 rating. The self-cleaning screen continuously rakes solids off before they reach the biological chambers, which matters a lot in our climate: warm 27-29C water means koi eat aggressively year-round and produce far more waste than a temperate pond, so mechanical separation has to keep up without daily intervention.

Because it is a gravity-fed flow-through unit, set it slightly above water level with a strong return to a waterfall or stream for the oxygenation our still, humid nights require. The moving screen reduces how often you must open the box, but plan to clear the collected debris bin regularly during the monsoon when leaf and pollen load spikes. Pair with a correctly sized UVC clarifier to control the green-water blooms our sun drives.
