JUN Oiso Sand (M) Fine Grade for Planted and Community Tanks
The M grade brings Oiso Sand down to a fine roughly 3mm grain, a versatile middle ground that suits most freshwater scapes. Like the rest of the range it is an inert natural sand that does not shift pH or KH, so it gives Singapore keepers a neutral foundation while they manage soft tap water chemistry on their own terms. The natural tone settles light and looks clean once rinsed.
This grain size is gentle enough for bottom-dwellers such as Corydoras and loaches that sift substrate, yet coarse enough to stay put under moderate flow without dusting up. It plants well for rooted species and goldfish or medaka setups. Being washable and reusable, a good rinse before filling clears fines, and you can recover and reuse it after a rescape rather than buying fresh.
